After many many months of hard work, my first cookery book is finally complete! It's been quite a journey to get to this point but I am incredibly proud of it. Huge thanks must go to the very talented team behind it's production, especially Clare Winfield. Clare is such a talented photographer, and together with food styling from Emily Kydd (and myself), I hope we have created a book of recipes that will inspire many people to try some delicious vegan dishes at home. The book is based on the food that my family and I fell in love during our travels across Asia and that inspired me to pursue a career in food when we returned home.
There are classic and fusion recipes, familiar crowd pleasers and unusual dishes, many of which are simply naturally vegan and just packed with flavour. I don't think you will miss any meat on your plate with these recipes. No avocado mash on toast (not that I don't like a bit of avo toast) but these recipes will give you so much opportunity to try out new flavours and recreate your favourite dishes from across Asia, from delicate and mouthwatering snacks to substantial meals.
